We’re bursting with pride to announce our Leeds, Sycamore House Property Manager Lisa, has been shortlisted for Site Staff Member of the Year, a very deserving place indeed!

Lisa joined the Prime Student Living team in Spring 2017 and wasted no time getting stuck in! Impressively playing a vital role at not one but TWO brand new properties since starting. Recruiting, training and managing teams for both properties. Achieving 100% occupancy rate for both!

Lisa has proved a huge hit as a Property Manager at – Sycamore House.  Eager to build relationships with residents and local organisations, Lisa is acknowledged as warm, welcoming and hugely caring towards students. Many residents sing Lisa’s praises as she goes above and beyond with a high level of service and commitment to student’s wellbeing.

Right from the get go, Lisa created a fantastic experience for students, from their first visit to the show flat, to communicating with residents before they check-in. Lisa encourages students to get involved with our private resident-only communities on Facebook which provides residents, the perfect opportunity to get to know each other.

Lisa created welcome packs for each student before moving into their new home. The packs included helpful information about the property and city, such as the best places to eat, drink and socialise. When students arrived, Lisa made sure they had a full safety induction in the gym, to help boost physical and mental wellbeing. Residents are encouraged to use on-site recycling facilities, take responsibility for waste and try to be as sustainable as possible.

Lisa has created an amazing environment for students to be in. As she takes great pride in organising and hosting renown events at the property such as welcome party complete with crepes and karaoke, movie nights and seasonal events.

With many international students at the properties, Lisa is dedicated to emailing and calling overseas students regularly before check-in, often out of UK hours and on weekends.  As well as connecting with international companies to make sure bookings meet the exact requirements for students. When surveyed, 93% of residents gave ratings of 4 or 5 stars for overall satisfaction and 91% of residents gave ratings of 4 or 5 stars for recommending the property to their friends. There’s no doubt Lisa goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel comfortable in their new homes.
